The people of Kogi West must begin to ask themselves a very critical question: how long is too long?

For years, Smart Adeyemi has occupied the Senate seat meant to represent the diverse voices and growing aspirations of our people. Yet, despite repeated opportunities, many constituents still struggle to point to transformational impact that matches the length of his stay in office.

Leadership is not meant to be recycled endlessly among the same individuals while fresh ideas and capable hands are pushed aside.

This is not personal it is about progress.

Kogi West today is faced with real challenges: youth unemployment, poor infrastructure, limited economic opportunities, and a growing disconnect between leadership and the grassroots. These issues require new energy, new thinking, and a leader who is deeply rooted in the people’s daily realities.

That is why the emergence of Hon. Tajudeen  Ibrahim Bismillah is not just timely, it is necessary.

We call on Distinguished Senator Smart Adeyemi and others too to reflect deeply on the principles of democracy and fairness.
