CGMT Ekiti State Joins President Tinubu, Muslims Worldwide To Celebrate Eid 2026
As Muslims across Nigeria and around the world celebrate Eid-el-Kabir 2026, the Coalition of Grassroots Movement for Tinubu (CGMT), Ekiti State Chapter, has joined President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in extending warm greetings and prayers to the Muslim Ummah.
The celebration of Eid-el-Kabir, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, remains one of the most significant occasions in Islam, symbolizing faith, obedience, sacrifice, love, and compassion. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in his Eid message to Nigerians and Muslims worldwide, emphasized the importance of unity, peace, selflessness, and national togetherness during this sacred season.
Speaking on behalf of CGMT Ekiti State, the State Coordinator, Rose Kuma, congratulated Muslims in Ekiti State, Nigeria, and across the globe for witnessing another blessed Eid celebration. She called on Nigerians to continue praying for peace, stability, and progress in the country while promoting love and tolerance among one another.
According to Rose Kuma, Eid-el-Kabir serves as a reminder of the virtues of sacrifice, patience, and unwavering faith in God, values that are greatly needed in nation-building and community development.
She also reaffirmed the commitment of CGMT Ekiti State to supporting initiatives that promote unity, grassroots empowerment, and national development under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“On behalf of the Coalition of Grassroots Movement for Tinubu (CGMT), Ekiti State Chapter, I extend heartfelt Eid Mubarak greetings to all Muslim faithful. May this season bring peace, joy, blessings, and prosperity to every home. Let us continue to pray for our dear nation and support efforts aimed at building a stronger and better Nigeria,” Rose Kuma stated.
The group further urged Nigerians to use the festive period to show kindness to the less privileged, strengthen community relationships, and uphold the spirit of peaceful coexistence regardless of tribe, religion, or political affiliation.
Eid-el-Kabir 2026 comes at a time when Nigerians continue to hope for greater economic growth, security, and national transformation. President Tinubu has repeatedly called on citizens to embrace unity and compassion as key pillars for sustainable national progress.
As celebrations continue nationwide, CGMT Ekiti State encouraged Muslims to reflect deeply on the teachings of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), whose devotion and obedience to Allah remain the foundation of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
The organization concluded by wishing all Muslims a peaceful, joyful, and spiritually rewarding Eid celebration.
